Kolobe Mining Botswana was formed in March 2004 by Directors Hilda van der Westhuizen (a Botswana citizen by birth) and Fanie van der Westhuizen (a South African citizen by birth) and is a registered contractor with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board.  We are also active members of the Contractors Plant Hire Association. Our headquarters are located in Francistown, Botswana.  Kolobe Mining operates in number of companies throughout the SADC Region, all of them falling under the Kolobe Mining holding company.  The countries of operation include Botswana, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, Democratic Republic of the Congo and Malawi.

Although we are a young team, we boast a wealth of experience through our involvement in major civil engineering projects and mining projects.  Our hands-on approach ensures that we maintain professional standards from inception through to fulfillment on each and every project.

Kolobe Mining provides a full range of services including short cycle waste mining; bulk earthworks, opencast mining and road construction.
